Events

We strive to represent the ways Universalists put their faith into action within their parishes and in the wider world. From large scale conventions, regional gatherings to parish life we hope to lift up the voices of many who sustained the movement of Universalism. Topics to be covered here include:

• Record the works of the Universalist Service Committee including voluntary workcamps (co-sponsored with the Quakers) following World War II aiding in the rebuilding of European towns painting schools and clearing farmland.
• Excerpts from parish records such as the Ladies Sewing Circle of Southold, New York founded in 1845 and instrumental in holding the fabric of parish life together.
• Exploration of the regional differences between Northern (New England), Mid-Atlantic (Philadelphia area), Southern (Virginia and the Carolinas) Universalists.
• A photo album of Universalist churches.
• We will include a calendar of current gatherings of Universalists — from the New Massachusetts Universalist Convention to gatherings of the Universalist Convention. All we need are updates from you!
